This privacy policy explains what personal information GrowChi collects through this website and the GrowChi beta app, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are
GrowChi Limited is the company responsible for this website, the GrowChi beta app, and the personal information you choose to submit through the GrowChi waitlist, beta registration, app account or enquiry forms. GrowChi Limited is registered in England and Wales with company number 17274302.
What information we collect
When you use the website, join the waitlist, contact us or take part in beta testing, we may collect:
- contact details you submit, such as your name and email address;
- beta app account details, such as your username, email address and password;
- your area, if you choose to provide it;
- your selected interest, such as joining the waitlist, piloting GrowChi, school or youth settings, or partnering;
- anything you choose to write in the message box;
- feedback, bug reports or support messages you send during beta testing;
- information you choose to enter into the beta app, depending on the features you test; and
- basic technical information collected by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited.
Passwords are used to help authenticate beta app accounts. Please keep your password private and do not send it to us by email, message or contact form.
Please do not send sensitive health information through the website contact form. If the beta app asks you to test health or wellbeing features, only enter information you are comfortable sharing for beta testing.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- manage the GrowChi waitlist;
- create, authenticate and manage beta app accounts;
- operate, test, troubleshoot and improve the beta app;
- understand interest in pilots, schools, youth programmes, community groups and partnerships;
- improve the website and understand how it is being used;
- support privacy, safeguarding, security and misuse prevention; and
- keep appropriate records for business, security and legal purposes.
Our lawful basis
We use your information where you have asked us to contact you, where it is necessary for our legitimate interests in developing and operating GrowChi, and where we need to comply with legal obligations.
Children and young people
GrowChi is being designed for ages 13+. We are considering privacy and safeguarding as part of product development. The website is for early interest, waitlist sign-ups and pilot enquiries. The beta app is currently being tested with beta users and is not intended for emergency, crisis or medical support.
If you are under 18, please only share information you are comfortable using for beta testing and involve a parent, guardian, school or trusted adult where appropriate.
Who we share information with
We only share personal information where necessary. This may include website hosting and form providers, app hosting, authentication and database providers, email and business software providers, professional advisers, or authorities if required by law.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we aim to use providers that apply appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
How long we keep information
We keep waitlist, enquiry and beta account information for as long as needed to respond to you, manage early access, operate the beta app, develop pilots, improve the product, and maintain appropriate business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing hello@growchi.co.uk.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information. You may also have the right to data portability and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
